Chief Executive Officer of Isaac Books and Stationery and Western Pharmacy, Mr. Isaac Owusu, has donated 40 brand-new laptop computers to the ‘Support One Needy Student with One Laptop’ (SONSOL) initiative.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson, thanked him for the support and stressed the impact such donations have on students and society at large.
She said providing students with laptops would go a long way to improving their academic performance and long-term socio-economic development.
“The most important thing is the impact of what you do for the students. When you are able to give this support to the children, it does not only affect them but also helps to cut the poverty line,” she said.
Prof. Dickson noted that students have consistently shared feedback on how access to laptops has improved their academic work, research capabilities and overall learning experience.

Mr. Owusu reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to student development.
